Fu Bar

Since July in 1999 Fu Bar has been on the forefront of quality underground club entertainment in Auckland.

Originally a one room bar, the FU venue space was opened in 2000 to increase the Fu Bar capacity to be able to host more international events.

Fu is widely regarded as an underground club and our music policy has always been deliberately cutting edge, although Hip Hop has come more to the front in recent years.

Fu and Fu Bar regular clientele have always regarded the club as a safe haven, where they can be treated to something different every night of the week, and often two different sounds in each room on weekends.

Since opening, Fu Bar has seen an astonishing number of events and parties, and has been host to internation acts Adam F, Adam Freeland, Andy C, Aphrodite, Aquasky, Aril Brikha, B.L.I.M., Bad Company, Bailey, Beat Junkies, Bryan G & MC GQ, Cash Money, Cause 4 Concern, Craze, Danny C, Derrick May, Die, Digital Primate, Digs & Woosh, Dillinja & Lemon D, Doc Scott & MC Justiyc, Ed Rush & Optical, Fierce, Goldie, Green Lantern, Grooverider, Hype, Jeff Mills, J-Majik, Keaton & Hive, Kid 606, Kid Kenobi, Kid Loco, Klaus Hill, Klute, Konflict, Krust & Die, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Marcus Intalex, Mark Rae, Marky, Matrix, Michael Mayer, Mickey Finn, Mike Grant.
