Zimbabwe's torture training camps

The Zimbabwean government says the camps are job training centres, but those who have escaped say they are part of a brutal plan to keep Mugabe in power.

Former recruits to the camps have spoken to the BBC's Panorama programme about a horrific training programme that breaks young teenagers down before encouraging them to commit atrocities.

When is someone going to stand up and say this will no longer be tolerated. Its sickening to see what the black piece of monkey shit calling himself Mugabe has done to that country. Bet if there was oil wels and maybe a few gold mines in Zimbabwe the USA would have jumped in ages ago to "save the people". But no ... there is nothing for them to gain so they just stick to taking down the middle eastern countries and stealing all their resources.

Agree, but this is a hole differant ball game from what happend in SA. Mugabe has not just given his men the word to kill of any white person and take their land, but also anyone that stands against him and not supporting his cause. Thats never happend in SA.

Biko was a terrorist. He was killed while being interegated by police I believe, while they were trying to find out more about what he had planned. (Yes its very short story) His party killed 1000's of white innocent people. Their was really no cause behind him, it all started of because he was to dumb as a student to pass anything, and thought that he was being discrimated against because they didn't want to lower the pass standards at Uni.

Pacifist? Are you serious, or do you just don't know what the word means dude? The person that started a group called SASO(go look it up I can't remember what it stands for), the group that single handedly burned down half of Potchefstroom University claiming that the tests were to hard for their people and the teachers wasn't black enough to teach them? Don't believe everything you read on the interweb, there is alot on that man that you don't know. The BCP another group that he started, they were surpose to be there to help uplift communities, show them the way of the future and help rebuild. However everytime they did a march because the goverment didnt supply this or that people got killed, houses, shops and just about anything in sight was destroyed. Pacifist?

Re-Action, I have no idea about the accuracy of your comments re: Steve Biko, but one thing that springs to my mind is a parallel to how the Japanese education system taught (teach) their children about WW2, and perhaps how the SA education system taught you during (after) apartheid.

Also please remember the viciousness of the SA apartheid governments and police. Two sides to every story as they say...
