Have some HD video's from the Pearl JAm gig down in Christchurch, but Youtube doesn't seem to be recognising them.
Weird in itself as I have uploaded someting a few months ago piece of piss.... with no re-coding/compressing etc.

Could someone with 'HD' capabilities have a look and see if they are displaying properly/look clear enough?

Or let me know if I have muffed it?

You could use the free program "handbrake" to encode them into a different format, then upload that. Maybe.

What type file are you trying to upload to youtube? are you using a PC or Mac?

From Youtube:
Best Formats for Uploading

YouTube can accept almost any video format for upload, but for most users we have found that the following settings give the best results.

* Video Format: H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 preferred
* Aspect Ratio: Native aspect ratio without letterboxing (examples: 4:3, 16:9)
* Resolution: 640 x 360 (16:9) or 480 x 360 (4:3) recommended
* Audio Format: MP3 or AAC preferred
* Frames per second: 30
* Maximum length: 10 minutes (we recommend 2-3 minutes)
* Maximum file size: 1 GB

So if you have any program, like "handbrake" which is mentioned above.. Quicktime Player, MPEG Stream, Adobe Media Encoder. You can convert it, from whatever type file it is now.. to the above specified format.
