Which two batsmen do you want at the crease?

I would want:
Mike Hussey
Jacob Oram
[quote]
Current batsmen only?

Hussey and Pieterson

If we can choose retired batsmen, I'd sway KP for the mighty Lance "Zulu" Klusener :>

Kluesner!!! Mad

Sad

....

I want Pieterson and Tendulka

retired

....

Cairns and ummm that aussie c*nt whose name escapes me right now

Bevan! yeah him
[quote]
Nah, Bevan was brilliant through overs 25-40, but he was never a 10 per over smasher.

I would pick McCullum & Hussey

He doesnt need to hoick it over the rope, he just needs to switch the strike and never get out Cool

For 7-8/over I'd agree.. but not 10. 10/over you really need to be hitting a decent amount of 4s and a few 6s.. And ya can't just put all the hitting pressure on the other batsman. That's why I choose Brendan McCullum. Fast as fuck, so can rotate the strike easily, but also can effortlessly whack a 6 when he needs to.

any of the big hitters will do

Kemp, Gilly, Oram, Klusenar, KP, Hussey, McCullum, Cairns, Gibbs

McCullum? Honestly? I wouldn't bet my life on him to help a team get 100 in the last 10 overs. Way to flakey. Oram perhaps but can't recall him winning any games against the big names. Cairns indeed ...

Klusener / Boucher / Kemp / Gibbs.

Pieterson - hmmm we all know he is a big hitter and scores big, never seen him help England out when needed.

Hussey and don't take anything away from Ponting.

Sanath Jayasuriya Very Happy

Shewag ...

If I have to pick two it would be Boucher and Klusener.

More than likely mate. Chasing down 350 against a very depleted Aus team is not really ... THAT FUCKEN GREAT Neutral and he did it ONCE Neutral hardly a fucken all round game winner.

Pfft within the space of like three months throughout Jan-March last year he got:

30
46*
22*
86*
52*

Then again at the start of this year from Nov-Feb:

40
81
96
40
35
80*
42
80*
58
77

These are priceless innings for NZ at #7, and he has won shitloads of games for us almost singlehandedly at times.
[quote]
Ignore *Re-Action* ...he thinks the shine suns out Bouchers ass which makes him somehow unable to apprecriate McCullum Razz

Altho I must admit Brendons dropped catch in the 1st test WAS very unboucher like Neutral and he does it too often , if hes going to retire a superstar he needs to drop less than he does atm

Read the fucken question you idiot. This is not about how many big scores you can post, its who will handle the pressure in a situation where you need to chase 100 in 10 overs. McCullum will lose his head on the first ball. FACT.

I did read the question douche. McCullum has saved our ass in plenty of these high-pressure situations already - FACT.

You really going to make me do this aren't ya!

30 - If anything Oram saved that game Neutral
46* - Uhmm you lost this game Neutral
22* - Uhmm Taylor won you this game Neutral followed by Fulton and Macca.
86* - Again Macca with good support from McCullum
52* - LOL Canada where everyone above him scored more Laughing

Then again at the start of this year from Nov-Feb:

40 - LOL you LOST
81 - FINALLY a game he scored well and it setup a win.
96 - LOL YOU LOST!
40 - LOL AGAIN.
35 - lowest score in the team Neutral
80* - OK Laughing this game was hillarious!
42 - nothing to write home about.
80* - Him and Taylor did well, hardly a pressure situation however.
58 - Drawn game where he did little to impress.
77 - You lost this game as well Neutral

Now Neutral where are ALL these priceless innings?
