you want to get hold of lee perry "super ape inna jungle" scrach and the prof goin at dnb style.

or alternativly the track "techno party",(off the last scratch/prof album)its one of the ones the prof was droppin while he was over here last.

[quote]
Yeah man techno partys a wikkid track, i remember the mad prof dropping that one and so did Rockers HiFi on their last tour. Not as dnb as some of the other tracks he played though

Ill check out that remixed super ape album cos the originals one of the best reggae albums ive heard, real Black Ark niceness.

Big thanks for the tip man
[quote]
it ain't actually a remix of the super ape album, its just scratch calling himself the super ape.
super ape is a damn amazing album though!
if ya afta some real reggae/dnb crossover styles you need to check the dancehall riddim from a coupla a years ago called the "backyard" by dave kelly.its pure jamaican jungle!(but i think its probably pretty hard to get hold of these days)
[quote]
hehehe the super ape album is where i got my alias from Razz

'super chimp & the up beats'
[quote]
Oh i see

Well theres an album called "Black Ark Ex-Perryments" with some Super Ape reworking if i remember correctly. Its easy to get a bit mixed up when your talkin bout a man whos been putting out albums nonstop for 35 years!

Reggae bring back love, give it its own forum one like biggie jah
[quote]
yeah yeah!

biggie reggae forum!
we could teach all the dnb kids about the real meanings of all the jamaican dancehall patois they keep spouting!

big up y'self chief!
[quote]
Nice..
I'm pretty sure theres a good remix/rework of techno party floating around but I might be wrong.. wicked track all the same Smile
[quote]
we havin a party!

the lyrics of course coming from the bob marley tune "punky reggae party" which scratch himself produced.
[quote]
that track is dope,

it was a tribute to all the british punk cats,
who scratch and marley felt were very similar to
themselves.

the whole subculture type thing
[quote]
mmm, love dancehall.

it's such sexy music.

a dancehall version of kinky reggae would be
lovely.
surely there pobably is already one.
