YBR - important news

As many of you will have noticed, ybr has experienced huge growth recently and with roughly 1800 people showing up last weekend to the ybr ultimatum event, the time has come for a change.

These changes are not easy ones for us to make as we like to offer as much as we can for as many as we can but with the crowds behavior and with certain individuals behavior, we've been left with no choice.

These changes will take effect for the next event which will be our Christmas 06 event on the 9th dec. Everyone planning to attend will need to know these changes so if you or anyone you know attends ybr, please either pass on this info or get them to visit the ybr site to check for themselves.


- YBR is now a SMOKE FREE event.
due to people inside the smoking area and outside the smoking area trying to separate the fencing and make holes in it, the outdoor area has now become to hard to manage and control. For this reason the outside area will no longer exist.

- SECURITY will now be placed in the restrooms all night.
due to excessive tagging in the toilet areas, security members will now be placed in there to dis-courage tagging. Anyone caught tagging or causing holes in the walls will be held and charged with willfull damage via the police. This has now become a zero tolerance issue

- SECURITY will be hired to manage the door and footpaths.
due to people making trouble, smashing bottles on the roads etc, payed security will now be given full control of all outside areas. This means if you come along and plan on hanging around and making trouble, it wont be ybr who is dealing with you, it will be security guards. you have been warned.

- PRESALES.
ybr will be introducing presales from now on. This is to ensure those who really want to come, can come by purchasing a presale. Presales will guarantee entry and mean no more standing in the queue hoping to get in. Presales will be onsale at tickekek in the near future.

- PRICE CHANGES.
due to excessive damage and a need for increased security, prices have had to change.

presales will remain at $20 + booking fee
doorsales will be $30 if any remain.

These prices reflect our interest in covering costs as well as encouraging presales rather than doorsales. Doorsales will be based on availability.



We have introduced these changes in order to gain back the ybr atmosphere you all love. This means if you really want to come, you can by purchasing a presale and if you dont, you cant complain about not getting in as you could have brought one. Also you may feel a huge security presence isn't needed but again, your safety is our main concern.
