please note guys, as per my first post in this thread, theres nothing about pass outs.

YBR will not be allowing passouts this time regardless of what is posted else where.

also the flyers about to be released mention passouts at 2.30 but this is a mis-print. there will be NO passouts.

WHAT? NO PASS OUTS? BUT HOW CAN I TAKE MY DRUGS!!!

and what happened to no further talk on this site only on the ybr site

that was an announcement due to the fact that the flyers have a mis-print saying there is passouts. We want to correct it now rather than explain to everyone at the event why they cant leave then return again.

hmm thats really interesting ..

whats the reason for not allowing passouts at this event? .. at EVERY other ybr, there have been passouts from 2am onwards am I right?

yep. every other event has had pass outs at 2.30.

this time round we decided against it due to a number of reasons. the main one being crowd saftey.

we still feel people leave at 2.30 and take substances then come back. for this reason we feel its not warrented to have pass outs. If people want fresh air or to smoke then theres plenty of room outside for it.

Also its easier to control the crowd rather than having people filter in and out all the time. With the fencing set up we will have it makes sence.

If you dont like this rule then feel free to state your case over at the ybr forums and we review things again next time.

no pass outs is pretty stink but hey at least theres some notice about it, gutted though i usually like to go grab a feed at some point after 2:30
but meh, its not going to affect the quality of the event

My brother and his two friends just got in the door. They popped their BZP whilst killing time in the queue, but were turned away at the door because it was full (at least that's what they told me). So now they're sitting in my living room, with no sleep in sight. And what's worse, by brother has to work in the morning.

That'll be a tough shift.

Big ups to Funkshun..brilliant set, really enjoyed it! also big ups at kyle, harri, and others i wish i could stayed longer but thats what happends when there are two massive gigs on same night! big ups to YBR crew!

heh yeah for the brief half hour i was there, i was enjoying funkshun : D wicked set man, tight mixing and whomping tunes as always congrats to heather also, i heard a few tracks and was sounding very good

I missed your set, and I was kicking myself because the set up this time was awesome - but apparently, and this according to everyone I spoke to.. your set rocked!

I was gonna pop into the Radio on my way down, at around 9:20pm, but I figured you'd skip that to play at Yellow Brick Road.. Until I found out, you were playing 8-9PM.

I didn't read the advertisements - serves me right ;D
