Does anyone think this jacket is ok, or is it a bit willy wonka kinda. It's hard to find blazers that aren't black or blue...

Crumpled in a pile on my floor.

yes to all.

Make a statement in this seasons bold stripe trend.

At least you shouldnt have any trouble crossing the road.
[quote]
It's cute but it's the wrong time of year for it. Definitely a summer dress with bright accessories and it would definitely work. Nice bright red lipstick like that model has and some red shoes. You would definitely stand out heh.

Edit. That's the Karen Walker dress I was referring to, I didn't see the link for the blazer. Looks a bit Zebra-y. Can be a bit touch and go, seems kinda 80's-ish and not in a good way. Razz
[quote]
heh I wear a lot of black and white stripes Embarassed just not in the main feature piece of an outfit.

Ok... since you all esp dalai have nice ideas which dress do you think is the cutest on this page.. I'd wear with opaques and a blazer for winter Smile

http://shop.karenwalker.com/collections/hi-there-new

or I could just buy myself this instead... since my old one has been taxed by my sister...

hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

[quote]
The jacket, fuck no, hideous.

The Karen Walker dress is is very cool IMO, but perhaps a tad summery for this time of year.

The sunnies, impossible to say as sunnies have that way of looking terrible on one person but great on the next.
[quote]
The Peter Pan or the Buttercup are the most stylish there, but the Violet one might've been up there had they put the model in more appropriate shoes (the photo is awful in general tbf so it could look a lot better).
[quote]
I'd wear a black blazer with the dress..
Buttercup is my fav but sold out Sad maybe Pebbles is cute Peter Pan would look horrendous on me it's not fitted enough. hrmm

[quote]
I'd suggest the Dragonfly but it might look shit with stockings, and it's one of those colours where you'd want to try before you buy as well.
[quote]
I quite like the Minnie. With maybe some gold coloured shoes with straps that tie up around the ankles.

The Buttercup is a cute dress. Smile

I used to enjoy helping my ex pick out outfits heh. Like getting your own private model show and afterwards you get to see the model naked. :>
[quote]
No too sure about the stripes, but if you usually rock that style then yeah for sure. I like the first dress (kinda more summery though mow? How much wear will you get out of it leading into winter? Guess it's warm now still). $349 sun glasses? Pick me up some nice ones too please
[quote]
I like the stripey jacket Smile Nautical ahoy! It all depends on what else you wear of course.

I'm not a fan of Karen Walker...
[quote]
Really? It actually hurts my eyes to look at it.

^This.
I'm not a fan of Karen Walker in the way that she can't seem to have an original idea to save herself (nor steal other people's ideas and put them together in an 'original' way).

*Yes I understand the problem with 'originality'. She doesn't come close to even the broadest of definitions however IMO.
[quote]
It amazes me how you can get men commenting in women's threads all the time QT. Impressed!
[quote]
Oh is this a 'womans thread' Just.. Razz

What Jono said basically...

[quote]
Ungh, look at those shoulder pads. That is exactly what I mean about it being an 80's look and not in a good way. Razz

Nothing wrong with stripes, but zebra stripe tops belong in the decade that fashion forgot. Razz

Yeah, if I'm being honest, it's usually their floor, I try not to let 'em know where I lay my head.

[quote]
that's a tricky one and would depend on the person wearing it. I think it could very easily look Goth.
[quote]
Hmm yeah it would look awful on me I dont suit floaty shit..
This is much nicer... hrmmm

http://www.wildpair.co.nz/Product-29020-Scrapbook+P61238+.html?colour=Cobalt
[quote]
I think all of the above clothes are needless additions to an existing wardrobe and an impediment to the goal of saving money.
[quote]
They're cheap though.. only $40 and I need a new dress for the weekend my dresses aren't winter appropriate..

Savings is going ok.. plus buying online means I'm not out being tempted by other stuff...

....
[quote]
Yeah sorry it probably sounded a bit wanky but I didn't mean it like that. Just sometimes we all need reminding.
[quote]
It's ok I am terrible... but am getting better.

Anyhoo I'm going with this dress and it's only $30!! Very Happy !!!!!! pretty purple!!!!
