Two of the most respected brand names in the Wellington hard dance scene combine over two rooms to celebrate the end of an era - the final event at Sub9

The rumours are true - Subnine will be handed over to the new owners at the end of September, and they intend to turn the space into something other than a bar...so this will be THE LAST gig to be held at the venue.
We have a huge line-up of favourite local DJ's and up-and-comers, and are set to transform the space for one last night - thanks to our sponsors Red Bull and Jagermeister, our own sound-system, a combination of decor styles, and the ever dependable Xcite Lighting, the place is set to be farewelled with a bang.

lets hope we get a good crew in there to see off the place in style - I've had some of my best nights in there - the old Fevah's with Skol etc, our first Fantasia party that packed the place out (had a line almost down to Victoria St at 10pm), numerous Twisted's of late, and my firm favourite - Pendulums 'Hold Your Colour' album release - that night was huge.
Heres to the future tho huh!

Mixed feelings about saying goodbye to sub9 - it was a really manky place if promoters didn't make an effort to tart it up for a gig, but I've had so manny happy memories there (plus I'm sure a shitload of happy stuff I can't remember!)

Flights sorted.... Energy being preserved. Attitude in check. Enthusiasm at its maximum....

what a night and a half Xplicit vs new nrg was wicked night and awesome work by those in getting SUB up and running for the night, the place looked mint. also mint sound rig Stu.

thanks to everyone who made it down to Sub9 on Saturday, it was a big effort to get the club up to a reasonable state and in the end it was well worth it. Big thanks to Stu for sorting out the rig for us, it sounded great as per usual, also to Andrew at XCite lighting, Mr T, J*Speed, Soren, Jim and all those others that helped us host a successful party.
Last but not least Mark, JD, and the Curve Bar staff who had to work extra hard to stock and run the venue for the night, we appreciate it.
Looking forward to Twisted and Crank now....

It was an awesome gig

The place looked great, especially considering the amount of work you guys had to put in to fix it up. I loved what you guys did with the Attic bar.
