I've got an English guys staying for a couple days at the moment. He's come from 4 months in South America, so I firgured it'd be a good chance to talk to someone about somewhere I'd like to go.

Got a couple more people staying next week too ...

Haved you used it for such? I guess the same could be said for any social networking site... Even biggie.

I have used couchsurfing.com a few times, and had some of the most amazing experiences, met wicked people, and had a totally different trip to what it would have been doing the usual hostel backpacking deal.

Just what quite a few other people have said about what's happened when they've used it, and going on the profiles i've seen...some of which are quite riskque!

Can't say that I've hooked up with anyone yet .... which is just as well consudering I've had one guy and one couple stay
