Was digging through some old CD's the other day and came across Adam Freeland's Fabric live 16. Had been a while since I'd given it a play so chucked it in and had a listen. Have to say, I really enjoyed this mix when I first heard it, probably mainly because it was chock full of good Marine Parade tunes that I was really into at the time.

Anywho, all was going well until I got about half way through, grooving along to Burn the Clock (which I still rate as a killer tune) and all of a sudden Freeland 'drops' Evil Nine's rmx of Reign in right at the tail end.

Shocked Honestly, I had rewind a little just to make sure the CD hadn't skipped or anything. It seemed like he wasn't even trying to mix it, he maybe just didn't realise that the last one had ended until it was too late, then quickly mashed the start button to get things going again. it didn't even sound like it was in time or anything! Was absolutely cringe-worthy.

I just can't understand how you could decide that this was good enough to imortalise in CD form if you're supposed to be an All Star DJ. Shame really cause like I say, I really dig some of the tracks that are on there, but unless i'm in a close proximity to the skip button on the CD player at the right time, I'd be hesitant to give it a listen again.

Shows you how one terrible mix can ruin a whole comp like that tho. Anyone else know of any major cock-ups that have ruined an otherwise pretty decent effort?
