Just took 5/62 vs India

At age 22 (yes, 22!) he has:
749 runs in tests at 28.8 (less than Dan, but remember Dan matured, and Shakib has been batting consistently at 6 in a much weaker batting lineup)
55 wickets at 27.83 with 6 five fors (thats 1 five for every 3 tests!) - MUCH more dangerous bowling than Dan

2180 runs at 34.73 including FOUR centuries in ODI - that's a better record than any of our specialist ODI batsman bar Rosco!!
And 85 wickets at 31.68 with a RPO of 4.06

In other words, he does it ALL

His spread of teams played is pretty even over 100 odd internationals, except Australia and England who he has played a total 3 times...and Zimbabwe whom he has played 26 times. A quarter of his games vs the worst side in test cricket. There aiint no freakin way any cricket team would pass on Dan for this guy

Futhermore to this...in his 26 games vs Zimbabwe, who have been bloody awful for the last few years, he averages 42 with the bat and 23 with the ball. The only test nations he has a good record againgst is the Windies......and us :/

Although I did somehow manage to get Bermuda and Australia mixed up, so hes played Aussie 5 times and England once. Not very experienced with using this statsguru thing tbh

Imagine Dan's record if he played > 50% of his games on the subcontinent...

Still pretty good for a lad of 22, give him 10 more years to see if he can improve and get better then you can compare.
