Work, Student, Bum (what do you do)

I know this has been done in the Lounge but don't think any Welli biggies added to it....

Now I'm a lovely Personel Assistant in the Treasury Dept...my boss rocks...oh and work in Wellington!!!

I used to live in Karori, then my work (Yellow Pages) moved its office out to Lower Hutt so I decided to stay with them and move out here aswell... - Been here for around 18 months or so now...
I make the adverts that go in the book and sell them to customers... also help make some websites that are attached to www.yellowpages.co.nz

i was a Business Systems Analyst here in palmy, chucked that in to have a wee holiday and then move to wellies - had my first interview on friday.
Look out wellies, here i come! woohoo!

Now i work for the Govt department that looks after Science and Research funding. Tis a pretty interesting place to work.

I'm a marketing campaign manager for a credit card company: ie: entice you guys to get into debt. I really like my job but being at work after the holidays is a bit stinky, hence my addiction to biggie during work hours!

full time student studying towards a diploma in e-commerce (finishing in 3 weeks, YAY!!!)

also work part time as a chef at nights to pay the bills and to fund my weekends :b

Technically a full-time student, doing a BSC in Comp Sci & Maths and a BCA in Economics and Finance concurently. And yes, I know that explains a lot.

Over the 'holidays' (huh!) I'm working full-time at an investment bank doing dodgy research and analysis. I think my technical term is "junior analyst", but really, I'm just a geek searching the net and Reuters databases for stuff the other guys are too stupid to find, or too lazy. And then writing up crappy reports and attending meetings where I'm not expected to speak. I hate investment bankers too, at the mo. Also have an ongoing part-time job for another company doing their bookkeeping and IT support.

heavenly: Cool job - and excellent that you like it. I always like to hear about people who really enjoy their work, kinda gives me hope that some day I'll find exactly what I want to do and put my years of study to some good use.

I'm a web designer working for a small IT company on the terrace. It's groovy, I don't have to much client side facing work (hence casual dress standard...yay), and I get to listen to music all day and be creative!.

im a video editor in a post production company...we do commercials, short films, feature, corporate vid's, and my favourite - music vidoes
I love my job too sometimes, i forget to go home (except this last week)

Dispatcher for one of welli's urgent companies, real high stress, so tuesdays are heaps of fun, D.J in the weekends

heavenly: Nup, a small 'boutique' investment bank, been in the papers/news a bit lately though. Since it's small, I'm keeping my mouth shut as to its name.

Just finished studying Internet Technology, and am currently a bum having a break! I swear studying that shit will fry your brain more than any drug on this earth.

Well for me im a student and work too, I work and live here in Palmy, work at a electrical appliance store called Leader & Watt - 100% your electrical store ,
I drive the Ford Transits around and deliver stock to other branches around Manawatu, (Levin, Wangavegas etc)
Also DJ at the Lighthouse, im DJ Zippy there.
And will be going back to UCOL next month to finish off my Networking course and CISCO systems course.

Sunshine-Its all about the money!!!!! Hopefully wont have to use the IT knowledge I have and can try to make it in the DJ world! Hopefully!

zippy, no gate sales, firm records have SOME tickets left, you might have to do the mish to pick em up, but dont stuff around, I heard from one of the promoters, he said expected 5000 people, thats as many as G2 this year!!
