Release eagerly anticipated new album ‘Immersion’ on May 24th
“A COMPLETE AURAL ASSAULT” (NME)
“PHENOMENAL DOESN’T EVEN COME CLOSE” (KERRANG!)
“PREPARE FOR TOTAL IMMERSION” (MIXMAG)
PENDULUM are back with their most visceral and enthralling work with the album IMMERSION that’s set for release on May 24th. The album’s first single WATERCOLOUR is due for release on May 3rd.
PENDULUM made one of the biggest breakthroughs of recent years with their hit album IN SILICO. Having sold over 1 MILLION records worldwide, the band completed a sell out Academy tour in 2008 and went on to smash the international festival circuit last summer with killer appearances at GLASTONBURY, DOWNLOAD, V and GLOBAL GATHERING to name a few. Both PENDULUM studio albums to date – IN SILICO and the band’s debut HOLD YOUR COLOUR – have gone Platinum.
We have 5 copies up for grabs. Just post up your favourite track from Pendulum over the years or a memory from one of their events.
Also, wasn't a Pendulum concert but the first time I heard this song in a club was a-maaaaaaazing. In that dirty dark second room at Calibre, think it was at the first technique gig RAMMED.
Propane Nightmeres.... I know in Silico was rejected by many but I personally loved the rock twist and it was that album that motivated me to start my own D&B band in Wellington (Candy for Strangers). Favourite memory has to be my friend 'firetrucking' himself during Pendulums live set at Glastonbury 2009 because he was having such a good time he didn't actually realise that his wee's situation was critical... he then firetrucked for a second time, whislt standing outside a block of 20 vaccant toilets just to make a point.... not sure what that point was however...
Guess no one's to keen on this then?? Gave the album a listen on-line and think it has a few good tracks, but the Island (1&2) made me want me want to vomit a little..
Still, if your giving it away i'll take one off your hands!
I must admit propane nightmares and tarantulas are pretty equal on my like factor of pendulum musics... nothing as wonderful as laying on bed/couch with speakers going hard and the bass rumbling through ya...
