Its hard to pin point exact moments for DHF cause all of them have been so awesome however it was my first dance party that i went to at the st james so i will always have a soft spot for them! I will always remember exploring all the rooms, talking shit to people under the pillers on lorne st and the crowd (generally) being awesome.

Organising a biggie meetup at DHnF at St James (2001 maybe?), meeting Transtemporal for the first time and being told I was a bit too happy to really carry on a conversation with anyone!

That night back when it was at Cirque Bar and everyone got a small furry 'Love' purse which DJ Phully used to make. Loved that purse and loved that venue! Good times.

I have never had the privllage of attending DHF and I'm soooo bummed!! Everyone should experience Deep Hard n Funky atleast once in their life time I'm sure....help a sister out!!

Some of my best early raving/party days were at DEEP HARD N FUNKY parties.....St James was home with the amazing majestic staircase, statues & the many exciting rooms..... the main room would have to be my favorite..... I remember standing up the very back dancing to PICTURES by Sneaky sound system with my friend Mel...... we had our own dance to this song & owned the room....haha....oh the antics..... I was renowned for having glow sticks strung all over me & of course the glowing dummie was my fav...I even convinced someone selling them to give me freebies...... this was fine, but under one condition....I had to go give out a huge stack of flyers...... I remember running/flying around St James & into each of the side rooms....standing in the middle & throwing hundreds up in the air over everyone! >>>>>

Deep Hard n Funky was one of the 1st dance parties I went to..... we always had a huge crew of around 40 ppl & would always have the most amazing time! Great Choones, great people & an all round great atmosphere! St James was the business.....however Ellerslie will be great too, havn't been to a dance party in awhile but if I win a ticket I'd def been keen to pop along & relive my younger party days.......it looks amazing & I have no doubt you guys will make it the best night ever!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!!! I REMEMBER SITTING UNDER THE LEDGE ON LORNE STREET...... SOO MUCH FUN >>>> TALKING SHIT FOR HRS.....FLITTING BACK & FORTH ALL OVER ST JAMES.....IT WAS A SAFE HAVEN WHERE EVERYONE HAD SO MUCH FUN & WERE JUST SOO HAPPY! THANKS DHNF....THE GREAT MEMORIES ARE NEVER ENDING!

HEHE...... I'm sure it was that good that it did.....I remember at one of the last parties @ st james....concord dawn playing & the jib came swinging down from the ceiling.....haha the vibe in there was SIIICK.....we litterly brought the roof down!

I have been lucky enough to go to two Deep Hard N Funky Dance Parties so far, (unfortunately missed two others I really wanted to go to), the first was the Decade Of Dance at Vector Arena in 2008, then the Indepen-Dance at Ellerslie Racecourse in July last year. They both ROCKED, especially Indepen-Dance at Ellerslie last year, it was the best dance party I've been to so far!! There were six rooms on three levels with a fantastic lineup of DJs. Ellerslie is the BEST venue for dance parties, I love it there (and being a racing fan I love going there to the Races too!) The layout and the different rooms going on multiple levels is awesome, the crowds at both were fantastic, lots of fun, great atmosphere and really awesome music! I had an absolute ball at both DHF parties, especially Indepen-Dance.

A very special highlight for me was seeing Alan Braxe from Daft Punk/Stardust play in the Great Northern Room, I LOVE Daft Punk and he was brilliant!! He very kindly played a Daft Punk track off my favourite album "Homework" for me and getting to meet him and shake his hand was a real buzz!!

The cool people I've met at Deep Hard N Funky, plus all the really wicked costumes/outfits you see and the awesome vibe in general make it a totally fun night out and I would so LOVE to go to Winter Wonderland next Saturday!! But unfortunately I am way behind and not in a position to buy a ticket for this one, so to be lucky enough to win on of the 10 Passes would be a real and much-needed reward! Thank you Biggie for giving some of us the chance to go......I have no doubt it will be every bit as huge and exciting as Indepen-Dance this time last year!! [/color]

I too have never had the privilege of attending DnH. All my mates are going to party it up, however my student budget wont allow it :[ Help me out, I just finished exams and need to party !!

DHNF was my first big rave/gig i had ever been to back in 2005.. have not been to one since the St James shut down. I would love a ticket as i havn't had a chance to go out this year!!!

Deep hard n Funky 10 year anniversary at Vector arena is still the best rave I have been to in New Zealand, I will NEVER forget that night haha we were right up the very front dancing all night long with my best mates!! It was freakin awesome!!

i remember my first ever deep hard n funky when i was a naive young 18 year old, i thort it would be just like another club night, i was wildy mistaken. Was the best night of my life, lost my mind and it never returned. 4 years later and I still look forward to them like Christmas, Deep Hard n Funky is amazing.
