Hey, watched the movie "Wildstyle" 1982 for the first time since I was in high school.

Fuck me it's got loads of lines, beats, rhymes that have been robbed!!!

For a start, the Beastie Boys are the biggest culprits - seems they stole their whole rap style from the movie, not to mention rhymes and a sample of a line.

Next - Stanton worriers, "The Virus" the line on that track is off this movie.

Krafty, has fatted up some of the breakbeats played thry the movie.

It's a groundbreaking movie IMO!!!!!

I love when a sample comes up in a movie you notice.

Will have to check those one out.

Wildstyle is pretty cool. It's such a crap 80's story line about a graff artist, but along the way it's got some awesome early rapping, b-boys and djs.
Fuck knows how they managed to beat jugle with that equipment back then?!!

It's well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
