OK NZ thrashed Aussie but I'm still picking England will take out the world cup because:

Best forward pack in the world
Wilkinson
Retention
Turnover
Lineouts

And lets face it .... thats where rugby games are won

Only reason why England bet us, is because it was the first game for a new team. Takes a couple of games for a team to gel together and get used to each other. Bring on the final I say.

After watching how we have progressed since that unlucky loss to England I have no doubnt that we will absoloutley smash the Poms given another chance !

Our scrum is improving each week and that shows when we have rolled the saffas and ockers two weeks in a row, bringing brad thorne on in the last twenty makes our scrum devastating against the opponents who are tired by then....

the line outs continue to be our problem area, the plus is we have the best lock in the world, anyone who disagrees must have been watching something else over the last season or so.....

our backs speak for themselves.....BRILLIANT !

England have not got a shit show now......pfft, they beat us in our FIRST game and theyre WC favourites ! bullshit I say!

we are clear favourites and should be. The last 2 games have shown we are a step in class above aussie and SA and better than england. They could still beat us but our favouritism is totally justified. Remember than england didn't dominate our forwards and we have got a lot better since then.

It's all about the backs... it'll be paractically the middle of summer during the WC (well, by our standards)..

and we have by far the best backline in the world...

The Aussie team that played England was more under strenght than the one that played the AB's

plus they had Nathan Grey playing his first game at 1st 5 ever

England won but were no near as convicing as the AB's against aussie

Retention getting a lot better now they dont just throw the ball when tackled

Mediocre to weak backs
Best forward pack in the worl
Best kicker in the world
Regular trurnover
Good retention

wait till we meet them again in the WC, itchy you seem to be forgetting the fact that your big brave England team only beat us by TWO points, if Spencer had his kicking boots on we would have won by 12 or so...

turnovers ? mate as you have seen on the last two games if we get a turnover it will lead to a try, as you said our backs are the shit, if we get a turnover or England fail to find touch we will run it back and score tries...

that kicker you wank on about can only kick penaltys if we give up penaltys and if you have been watching the AB's recently, they arent giving away too many penaltys !

the writings on the wall, were about ot go through a very very strong era on AB rugby, look at our team,.the average age is 23-24 ! they will win this WC and the next Im predicting....by then this team will be perfect.

I'd dispute the turnovers thing. We have the best openside in the world and the best back at securing turnover ball. England are the best at slowing it down but not at securing turnovers neccessarily.

well they may have some of the best forwards but that doesnt make a winning team. I reckon all round we have the best team, great forwards and backs.

England know that the WC is going to be played on dry, fast pitches and they dont have the backs to match us, apart from Jason Robinson...

they will TRY and slow the game down and play boring kick for the corner rugby, however if ANY of those kicks dont find the line........see ya, try time !

Although English have won that game, I think ABs have more then a chance of winning when World Cup is on. U can not judge a team after a first game of the season!

it will be interesting to see how they go when they play two friendly match's at the end of August against each other......

Come World cup time, our forwards will dominate the English pack and crush them in the scrums.
I can see our forwards stamina and fitness being far more superior and we'll run them round the park all day long.

I feel sorry for the English backs aswell, theres no way they will catch Rokococo or Howlett. - They'll be carved up like the little pom-poms they are.

That win in WGTN earlier this year was a fluck..... If it wasnt for that pretty-boy goal kicker who looks like he's trying to sqeeze the demon while kicking for goal, we would have won that warm-up game.
