why???

why do not many people come in here it seems as though people enjoy dance and techno more than hip hop.

I think its because this site is aimed at the "dance scene" and hip hop dosent really fit into that bracket, I guess this forum is for those who like dance but also happen to like hip hop as well where as somebody who is strictly into hip hop might never have heard of this site.

think a lot of the people on biggie don't have an open mind to other types of music. just like their hard house, trance etc and have an image of hip hop as being all tupac and biggie.
Always annoys me how most people into dance music, even quality stuff, just won't have a bar of hip hop. I would love to hear house or dnb djs drop the occasional hip hop track, but just about never happens.

Codepeople - you should've gone to DJ DIE n KRUST last year. Bad bad nite, DJ DIE dropped in the middle of his set Ludacris "Rollout" and Busta Rhymes "What it is" you should've seen the crowd they went mental!!!

Manuel Bundy is known to drop hiphop all the time during his sets especially ATCQ.

My brother went to some big gig like Green Apples last year and in the middle of this hardhouse gig the dj dropped Shaggys BOOMBASTIC - he sez everyone went banana's...

I'm not really a fan of Shaggy but I would love to hear it in the middle of a house or full on techno set. you generally find if the dj drops something completely different and unexpected the crowd will go crazy.

Yea, loads of people won't even dare listen outside their genre ... I like to mix it up a bit personally.
