Our monthly tribal, techy and deep house
extravagnaza returns this month with a distinct
New York flavour.
Saw Recordings' label head, house music
legend and Def Mix mainstay Satoshi Tomiie
brings his deep prog sound to Room 1
alongside fellow NYster John Creamer with his
heavy, trippy tribal beats. They are both joined by
Elements resident Red Jerry.
Over in Room 2 resident Clive Henry (Peace
Division) is joined by Geordie lads Anton
Fielding and Chris Scott (AKA Echomen,
Lexicon Avenue, New Phunk Theory) and
another of our imported house heavyweights,
Joeski who is keeping the NY connection
strong.
As an additional treat, Tom Middleton takes over
Room 3 with his six hour Sound Of The
Cosmos session helping to launch his three
disc mix album set of the same name
forthcoming on Hooj. As anyone familiar with the
ways of the Jedi Middleton will know, you can
expect anything but a barrage of 4/4 beats,
rather a whole world of oddities ranging from
steel band cover versions to techno to TV theme
tunes. It seems everything is fair game for this
man.
