I would like to have 2 or 3 children one day. Not for quite afew more years though.

I won't consider bringing a child into the world until I am financially stable and independantly so. Even then, I will not have children unless I have a loving home to bring them up in, and that means having a partner who is likeminded. I'm not so sure about the actual physical act of having kids tho. Eeek. Pain. Might have to adopt. Cross that bridge when it comes I guess!

1) a long term partner
2) finacial security ( ie mortgage free)
3) semi retirment
4) place on the beach somewhere
5) Will have to be in NZ, wouldnt want to raise
them in another country...

to all those that are gonna wait til, this and that, believe me there is never a good time to have them, you will always want something else before you take the plunge, if we didn't have them now i would still be putting it off....

i'm already lucky enough to have a beautiful daughter, & together with my sweet wife are my heart and soul. yes, i am older. yes, i have financial security. yes, i have travelled. and yes, i have found " mrs right ". these things do make the decision to have children easier, but they shouldn't be reasons not to. having children is the most amazing, rewarding experience a man or woman can possibly have. the day your child looks you in the eye & says he/she loves you will stimulate more joy and emotion than any drug. i feel for those who may not be able to witness this miracle for various reasons and realise there are just as many bad stories as good but i hope you all have, or find, something in your lives half as precious as the little thing pulling out my armhairs as i'm typing. precious.

Kids are wicked. Its just that baby bit that I couldn't stand. I reckon it'd be worth it though.

I've got names all sorted. If we have a boy we'll name him Shang Tsung and if its a girl we'll name her Chun-li.

But seriously, for some reason I think I will be the only one out of me and my two brothers to have kids... and for those of you who know me... this is kinda weird!

But it wont be for a while... maybe 8 years or so. I have many countries to live in and a lot more money to make. I know its not essential to have money to bring up kids in the developed world, but it does mean that you can provide them with a good upbringing and education and most importantly of all, will enable me to spend more time with them... I plan to only work part time when the kids are small
