Had our media box (slightly larger than a Shuttle) sitting on it for the last 18 months - 2 years or so. Just randomly let go at 2am. Pretty well supported (in the first pic, you can see the metal support bars under the intact bottom shelf) and heat doesn't seem to be an issue. Any ideas?
same shite was happening to oven glass doors 4 awhile
something to do with tempered glass and internal stress..heating/cooling..can just detonate for no apparent reason and cos its a safety glass u get the zillion piece jigsaw as a reward
