depends on what you clasify as `top'? - if you are talking about exposure & public perception, yes HODT are it, along with being a very solid live performance with originality & flair to boot.
But for me, as far as stage pressence, musical ability and sheer energy, it has to be The Funky Reverends.

I agree on HOD's live performances, they are extemely unique shall we say. They were brilliant again last night at Real Time.

Yet, I think Velvet (am I allowed to go dpt?) should give me something more to think about, it's going to be amazing from what I hear..

Yeah, Velvet is all about pulling all the pieces together, as opposed to ne or two elements.
HODT do have a wickedly fat sound which I love, no doubt at all they kicked arse last night.
