what's up with RIVA?

after the release of stringer, which (in my opinion) was one of the best tracks of last year, riva seem to be unable to produce anything but radio friendly cheese! :o(

don't get me wrong - their mix of rapture is excellent. but it's still overly vocal and cheesy.

and what the fuck is up with the remake of stringer with danii minogue on the vocals? (which is apperently being caned on ZM) does everyone else see this as the shameless cash-in that it is? or am i being too uptight?

United Records had the original Stringer. my guess is FFRR wanted the tune to go top ten. so got danni to wail over it. high profile person = $$$$$$. Take a look at Chicane - Dont Give Up. People had no idea who Chicane were they just thought it was the new Bryan Adams. Spiller - Groovejet would not have been a hit if they didint add the vocal on the positiva release.
