I'm wanting to really go for it this year and save some more cash .....

Gonna work 6 day 50 hour weeks until I burn out and then go relax in Thailand before I head back to NZ

Wow - its like I'm you guys's evil twin... am currently in NZ, then going to SE Asia before returning to my life in the UK. This is almost like something out of the twilight zone...

Moving to a new flat with cool peeps. Would like to spend this year getting to know new friends, having fun... but also saving as I'd like to go to Thailand, South Africa, England and Europe in 2005.

Whats with everyone I talk to wanting to go to Thailand?! I'm all up for it cause people who've been tell me yopu can live off about $15NZ a day for everything. Sounds perfect to me! My Aussie mate said a day of elephant treacking, 4x4 driving and two meals cost her like $40NZ

thailand is teh BIZZZ....

was just there few months back...absoloutely loved this island called Koh Lanta on teh Andaman coast (south thailand)...thought the beaches were way nicer and more laid back than koh phanghan (hmm..spelling?)

and talk bout cheap!!.... 5-10 bux for a bungalow like 1 metre away from the sand..mmmmm

Im not sure to be totally honest....im here till at least july anyway..the its off home for my mums b-day and a bit of tour round asia again, i really want to try and make it into myanamar this time, dont know how likely it is though, ive been told its really difficult to get a visa there, but im sure some $ liberally spread around will fix that...like most things in SEasia..

I know! I was meant to go in December but hadf to stay in Japan to sort out my working visa for this year. Not happy

I'll do it this year sometime ..... probably in December. A return ticket from Japan is like only $600NZ.

Try and get to cambodia and laos to if you get the chance, much better impression of asian culture than thailand.....plus there even cheaper and their not quit so over the tourists..!! Cambodia is a littel bit more dnagerous though..!!

Hmmm, my best friends are arriving in a month so thats when my travels will begin! Ireland in March and April are planned so far and then the rest of Europe this year. Cant afford to take too much time off work so lots of short holidays will have to be the go. May possibly come back to NZ for a couple of weeks later in the year. Just gonna save hard and do heaps of travel is the main point of the year. I'm just gonna take it as it comes.

I am going back to NZ for a close friend's wedding end of this year and also going home again in a couple of months because I am a pussy and I miss my family and friends.

Going to travel around Oz a bit and then settle into saving for London in 2005

Can't say I fall in to this catagory @tm...although could be by the end of the year

An Emglish teacher we know brought back about 100 bags to Japan and sold them for like literraly 10 times as much

I think they cost him about $30 each and he sold them for abnout $300-400 back in Japan

Settling into new job, saving some cash, enjoying friends company when they come visit, helping a mate settle into life in sydney late march, possibly moving closer to town, having a holiday back home at some stage, check out melbourne, and Indy in Nov on the gold coast - boys weekend away!


Also on the agenda - saving cash to invest later, get back in shape, and meet more people and do more new things!
