Mad as tune thats on high rotate on b at the moment.

The Knife - "We Share Our Mother's Health."

It's like a cross between dancehall and German electronica. Great animated film clip too.

dunno what version of this is on B but the Radio Slave mix is pretty damn cool

The booka shade remix of 'marble house' is great also.

These tracks are stackin floors and slayin them down

Simiain Mobile Disco - Hustler
Deekline&Wizard vs Jack Beatz - Golddigga (Ashley Beedle mix)
Dj Rooster & Sammy Peralta - Shake It (Steve Angello mix)
Liquid People - Son of Dragon
and my favorites that I can't wait to drop yet
Amp Fiddler - Right Where You Are (Tom Middleton Biz remix)
Natural Rhythm and Trap Groove - Dancefloor Jazz
Basement Jaxx - Hush Boy (Soul Seekerz mix)
David Morales Presents The Brooklyn Friends - Play (Playful Mix)

They goofing me off so I know they gonna slay any floor
[quote]
Simian Mobile Disco are great!!

That Hustler tune is massive. Thanks to Randomplay's sharp spotting we've watched that one grow and grow.

It's funny watching a tune become big. It's oddly satisfying, especially as you had nothin to do with the track itself yet you still feel like a proud father somehow... Or maybe more like a chuffed uncle...

Really like the Afromento (DJ Fudge) mix of Son Of Dragon.

And think all the mixes of the Amp Fiddler tune are great (the Hot Chip mix is lotsa fun). My favourite is the Tom Middleton Lub Mix. All the remixes make a nice change for the inevtiable Osunlade/Quentin Harris/Scott Wozniak white bootlegs.

The Fuckpony album is pretty bloody good, sounds like something Marshall Jefferson would've done in Chi 87, albeit wiith current production techniques.
[quote]
^^ Jay Haze (half of fuckpony) is a great producer. There's a 'dark side of the pony' ep on the way apparently which I'm looking forward to.

More from the knife - "Pass this On"

fuck-.pony

this years kosi comes around, for me Smile
[quote]
I'm gonna go speicher 39 both tracks, and then I'll raise it a d.i.m -Sysiphos....and then I'll raise it again with a booka shade - the specialist(studio version).
And hell cause I'm feeling old skool I'll raise that again with a Neil Landstrumm- Shake the hog...which still rocks it 11 odd years later. Sweet.
[quote]
Just got my hands on Drumcode - 2 (anyone know how much that suckas worth? (if anything...)
[quote]
I dropped a 'Eric Prydz' - unknown.
A dirty dark electro stonker ripped the shit out of everyone on saturday. Did the rewind just for the build up and then played it again a hour later. The crowd ate it up.
Plus watch out for 'Hyper Funk -I Walk Alone(hyper groove mix) It's phat, had wistling and screaming from the crowd all thru that track.
[quote]
Nice work mate!

U rewound an Eric Prydz track? Hats off au.

Lets get this thread moving again..
Pretty minimalish this week -enjoying the following.

Marc Romboy - Model 1601 (fairmont mix)
Jona - Tizia
Sweet and Candy - Dirty Gotches
Barem - Campo Loco (Onur Ozer mix)
My My - Kinesi Workshop EP

Also playing a classic from Nina Simone - Baltimore (in honour of one of my favourite tv shows 'the wire' starting a new season. It's set in baltimore.)
[quote]
Donaldo - Dragon (Shit Robot Fire Breathing remix)
Trickski - Grace
Franck Roger - Raise Ur Hands
Sweet n Candy - Tacky Wakeup (Dominik Eulberg remix)

Rapture's new LP isn't quite as good as I had hoped. 'Out of the races..' and 'Echoes' still have that rawness that made the band what it was. lyrically it's pretty bad but still pretty fun and worth a listen.
[quote]
Laughing
My Robot Friend - Swallow (Derrick Carter remix)
""Swallow" is the most straight-up party track on the "Dial 0" album with two jacking remixes by Derrick Carter, his first production for two years. "Swallow" features an insanely catchy rap by Crasta Yo and soundslike Soft Pink Truth narrating a porn film. It is a testament to the joys and confusion of ambisexuality. Derrick Carter steps in with his first production work in two years and delivers his "Weirdy" vox dub stripping the vocals back to the robo lyrics and injecting a pulsing 4/4 flavour. His second mix is the "We An Army" dub, this is a bassline-bumpin, funk-riddled cut that incorporates "Crasta Yo's" spikey lyrics and infectious groove."
