First International: Roni Size @ BDO 98 but if I said actual internation dnb only gig that would be APHRODITE.

First local: @ the Factory one Sunday nite last year.

umm uhh the first local gig for me with %100 percent drum n bass on the lineup for me was Voodoo core's Drum n Basswise IV @ bobs..

There were other things around at the time that encorporated a drum n bass dj or 2/3 but the Voodoocore gigs were the first "all jungle" events.... that was.. 94?

Yep I was at Bobs for those and the hardcore night at the box that played dnb all night with 2 aphex twin tunes for the hardcore massive. Aphrodite played Bobs and he played his mix of Blackstreets No Diggity which is/was wikid

But first time I heard d+b on a pa was at the hands of Aaron at one of the 398 parties.......

First time for me was at BDO beginning of 99.

Turned 18 at the beginning of 2000 so only really got out clubbing then. First big thing to really affect me was last years oonst with concord dawn.

I went to Goldie at the Ministry after he played at the big day out. I only stayed a couple of hours, and there was sweat dripping off the ceiling... I had never really heard DnB before and a mate of mine (yo captain^K!) took me along. i was second in the door... rad.

the foundry in...I dunno 95 or 6 I guess, maybe earlier. Before that, frig knows, it all seems like a blur. Anyone else remember that Foundry gig?

That f1-11 crew did a few other illegal things including "Speed" up on symonds street in an old abandoned warehouse. They cut the chains to the doors to get the gear in..

As well as "Reactor" back in 94 (?) where you had to meet up ontop of the car park reservoir on symonds street.. The night got shut down by the cops before it even started due to some cunt dobbing the night in..

I am sure that first Rider gig wasn't a Brain at all. It's quite funny I reckon how there were only about 150 people in attendance that night (from Sam & Grants mouth) but the amount of people that claim to have been there would have made it a sell out

first intl. i have no idea, matt will know, my memory is dodgemo. i can only think of springheeljack, but that was 96 and was only memorable because we did a live-to-net. must have been something earlier?

[groan] but try being accurate eh. short term memory is around 18 seconds, so unless the gig was around the time you started reading this sentance that isn't the reason you forget the details...

that said, short term memory does retard the ability to form long term memories (or learn in general), as all long term memories must be rehearsed in the short-term memory first, so if that is screwed you will find it hard to remember things. or you might just be stupid eh!
