Up until 2 weeks ago, nice sandwich bread. But I have discovered lovely bread at Marks & Spencer which freezes very well too!

QV is the best middle of town one that I know def sells it.

It's Marks and Spencer's own brand and I think it says 2 in 1 on the packaging.

i know its australian, but i really miss bundaberg ginger beer. i used to have a bottle a day. but you can buy it from the online store called sanza.co.uk, its just a bit spendy to buy too often.

-I miss the butter – I find the butter over here tastes sweet, so you can’t use it on sammies
-Proper vogels bread – they have vogels but it just aint the same and then you go and put stupid sweet butter on it with your vegemite WRONG WRONG WRONG.
-Hershey’s cookies & cream bars – cannot find these ANYWHERE
-Hokey Pokey ice cream
-Goody Goody gumdrops ice cream
-FRUJU’s
-Swiss Creams
-Toffee Pops
-A decent selection/range of chips – oh how disappointed I am. I could name a gazillion packets of chips I miss – munchoes, big uns, pita crisps, Mexican corn chips, signature range chilli & lime corn chips, bluebird tangy bbq, bluebird vinaigrette, Krispa salt & vinegar corn chips, I could go on but I wont.
-I miss the gingerale too – like the gingerale over here is Soda water with a dash of ginger, back home it’s ginger in your face mofo with a dash of soda water.

Needless to say when I go home in two weeks I am taking an extra suitcase just to bring back food.

I was a bit disapointed by the shop in CG, it didnt seem to stock much kiwi stuff. I did get my fix of L&P though. Theres heaps I miss, but im slowly finding UK substitutes.

Thankgod for mums and care packages. She sent me new Moro bars the other day, they are sooo yummy!! Plus my cousin has just come back with a whole lot of stuff I requested and I get it tomorrow YAY!! Nestle hot chocolate and raro!

Have you tried the Schweppes "Sueno" or "Agrum" drinks? They're pretty nice, Sueno is pretty similar to Duet imo.

i think it was called Sanza but it did shut for a while (or may still be?) but yep they definately got the goods for your dip cos me and my mate pointed at it yesterday and then laughed cos she ate a whole thing of dip to herself over the weekend

You can get reduced cream in Tesco's... but its not called reduced cream... and its not in every one.

Also to those people missing their 42 below etc, are you kidding me?? Eastern Europe and the best vodkas in the world are right on your doorstep! Go to a few of your local wholesalers and find one selling Zubrovska. Drink straight, or try with a little apple juice – best vodka I have ever tasted.

Oh and what do I miss? Cheap ethnic food.

Back home I could get a Korean, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese or even Japanese meal for under $10. In London £10 is considered pretty cheap… grim.

I know i'm kind of 8 months too late but I found this pretty sweet site called www.youknowit.com thats New Zealand based. They sell a whole bunch of Legal highs such as BZP, Salvia, Spice Gold etc

I ordered some of all of the above from there - it was delivered the next day, and worked a treat on the ol Neuro receptors!!

For the record, I really miss grain waves!
