We're getting married at the Cathedral here in Christchurch, NZ. We've got permission from the Dean to play whatever music we so desire.
We have a huge organ and a choir as backup. String section being worked out too.
Not gonna be playing banging Techno/ Hard Dance as this would seem odd in such a beautiful venue and is not right for the acoustics. Think it would spoil.
Gonna write a few parts of uplifting trance riffs to work with the choir.

Wondering what your favourite tunes you'd like to hear played at a Cathedral Wedding? Doesn't have to be dance music. Would like to try to cover everything.

Thinking of Orange Theme Cathedral Choir Remix as one...
Any others?

Captain Tinrib, Sarah & lil RIB. (Rio.)

P.S. Everyone is invited to this huge event on November 15th.

Anything by Tori Amos from her first four albums. Not necessarily with the choir though. The arrangement for The Donought song on From The Choir Girl Hotel is amazing, as is Playboy Mommy from her fourth album.

Or how about Bridge Over Troubled Water?

Sarah's entry to cathedral, "all that i am"
by darren tate and "power of one" by darren tate (dt8 project ) as you both leave the cathedral.

You will probably have to put them thru fruity loops, to chop out the bass, but they are both beaut moving trance tracks, great for the cathedral.

Well we're due to pop down into town tomorrow, so we'll pop into a joke shop. There is one in Chch isn't there? And buy some fake breasts.

Our frozen stock pile is up to 6 litres now in a week from our new milking stool we have installed here at Tinrib HQ Dairy. Gonna also buy one of those workman's hats with lager cans on a side and adapt all the parts to invent the 1st ever Father milking breasts.

Anyone up for a pair?
