seriously, if you're going to try you hand at making some cool disco edit of some random foreign tune, the least you could do is manage the bpm's so it doesn't fluctuate throughout the track....do you have any idea how hard that shit is to mix Neutral

At a guess are you talking about Terje?

With some of his edits he's done quantized and non-quantized versions. That beegee's one the refix is quantized and the edit is straight from the original. Can definately see where you're coming from... just have to be a bit inventive with the mixing. Play some funk or something broken rather than another disco re-edit before it Wink

is it a good song/track

do you ffel the need to share said track

if yes to both deal with the fact not all music is designed for easy mixing (thank christ)

dear god how can one not laugh

honk ponki is a surefire floor killer... let it breath and blend not mix it in and plan an escape route

Oh GOD.

That is awful.

Wow.

That's horrid Smile

I was referring to this - also with a dodgy pitch. And equally laden with cheese...

Though as all the good re-editors say, if you try to quantize the beats of the edit they often end up sound white, unfunky and shite... so leave the quantize out kids Very Happy
