Ha ha.. you have no idea. It happens globally except, apparently in Aus/NZ. I played in KL in Dec recently and recorded the first 90 mins of a set.. After the first re-listen I binned it. The resident DJ/manager guy came on the mike about six or seven times. I hardly noticed it when I was playing (concentrating too much perhaps and/or flustered) but hearing it on the file was plain embarrassing.

Weird thing is, clubbers seem to love it overseas. A bit of interaction like that does work.

i guess in the end it just comes down to personal preferences, (and maybe what kind of chemical influences you might be under), BUT having some person talk through music i was loving and dancing to, that really is my idea of a nightmare... same goes for if i was djing!


and yes.... a minim might be imminent....
