What happened to Tony Veitch?

Girls at course to day were telling me he tried to commit suicide, didn't hear anything on the news about it?!

Maybe they got the hint yesterdays news shouldn't be told today. How sad.

I get he was relieved at Winston getting all of the media attention though.. after those first few week, man!, how stressful would that have been?

its quite unfair it had to get to this point before the media realized hey maybe we should leave him alone, yea he beat up his wife quite badly but so have other people and we don't see them all over the news like Veitch.

It does seem rough when compared to other cases which have involved people in the media or similar.

In which other cases has the defendant been accused of severe grievous bodily harm though ?

Exactly - we don't hear about it, unless they're on tv.

Take the Lion man for example he was all over the news

A past flatmates mother was stabbed by her partner, he wasn't all over the news. Hes quite possibly walking around no one knowing what he did.
