I work for one of the Telco's and implement and support Genesys contact centre infrastructure and also supposed to be supporting Witness Call recording but I know jack about it. The only other problem is I do oncall one in 5 and you have to be available 24/7 for that week. I happened to be at Sandwiches last time I was oncall thankfully I was straight enough to be able to answer the phone if it had have rung! Minuit are playing at Sandwiches when I am on call next but I'm still going be.. cannot miss seeing them

I've been told i manage a call centre, but thats way to restrictive for what i actually do. I also profess in WFM, QM, T&D, KM, BIS, HR, and a host of other call centre acronyms only we find funny or even relevant.

Currently filling two jobs (have been since 6/11/07 and have a bet on a $100 bottle of bubbly i'll still be doing it come 6/11/0 and desperately need a clone or at least a minion . . . .

The line btw work / party / sleep blurs too much to know which one is my "real" job. I guess its the one that creates the '+' signs in the bank acc?

So pleased i switched to M-F 9-5 and ditched the graveyards and oncalls . . . . feel ya pain.

my how time flies and things change.. i have been a florist for the last 5 years and am currently studying systems technology in between work and child commitments.

and i behaved like a 3 year old this weekend

I work for TelstraClear - of course - (they are great to work for) I am having the week from hell oncall! I have done at least 13 hours extra time plus my 40 hour week with no lunch breaks but it's extra money we can use to save. I haven't slept much and you can't when you know you could get called out! I was oncall when Minuit played at Sandwiches little while and I took a risk going along, I got a P1 (highest severity fault) when they played "Fuji" ... oh well thems the breaks!

Wokky which Call Centre do you manage?? Do you use Genesys??

MoE - using Symposium CCS 5 (telecom). Really should upgrade to 6 at some point . . . . .
