What did ya do for mothers day?

I mader my girlfriend coffee/toast in bed and told her she'd done a great job raising her son .... and then took my mum to Carriages in Kumeu for lunch. Everyone seemed pretty happy about this.

Anyone call their mums, give them a card, go out for lunch or just catch up?

I went to see my mum took her some pressies had a chat and cake and coffee.. then came home.. I see my mum nearly everyday so me seeing her isn't a big deal.

Nice one. I'm sure she still appreciated it. I see mum once a week usually for a meal .... our relationship seems to work best if we don't see each other too often

I can handle my mum in small doses...

Smoked a joint, cooked a massive bacon egg and hashbrowns breakfast for myself.. Then went had a coffee and browse on Internet at coffee shop by myself. Also called my mum and wished her happy mothers days at some point.

Pretty good day after yesterday's crazy antics.

as Mum is in QLD i sent flowers arriving today. phoned her this arvo and talked for half an hour and amongst other things said I would visit in August.

Went and met my parents at their newly finished new house and celebrated the handover of the keys with a few wines and then went out to a Thai restaurant. Also bought mum a cast iron skillet because she has been talking recently of getting one.

I cooked all day! Made a massive batch of pancakes for breakfast fr 7 people, then made a lemon cake and chocolate chip biscuits. I made soup with smoked bacon hocks (which is SO good) and then made a beef and vege pie. I can't wait for my midget to learn how to cook so I can lax and make her do everything. Slaves are awesome.
