COTTI
Hailing from Brixton, south London.

Cotti is an established producer / DJ / MC and one half of -30 record label (minus 30) alongside his good friend, Cluekid. Cotti also runs his own solo label "bassface" launched in 2007 and is the head man of the "sumting new" movement launching in 2009.

Cotti has grown up around music and was very keen to experiment from a young age, starting off writing lyrics he then moved in to music production. Cotti formed the south London based, "4n format crew" (grime) in 2004. 4n format began playing at "on top FM 95.50" then landed a set on the world famous "Rinse FM 100.4" in early 2006.

Cotti started out making garage/grime around 1999, then in 2005 he met up with DJ Chef who introduced him to the dubstep sound. Following on from this, Cotti and Cluekid met up with Loafah (dmz) who showed them more of an insight on making & exploring the dubstep sound, which helped them to really get involved in the emerging dubstep scene.

Cotti has also worked with some of grime & dubsteps most respected artists & producers such as; Skream, Jammer, Roll deep, Newham Generals, Plastician, J Sweet, Doctor, Bearman, Big Narstie, l man, Aaron soul, Ironsoul/Kromestar and many more!

Cotti has previously released a grime EP and a mix CD in 2006 available in all Londons independent record shops & 3 separate 12" vinyl dubstep dance floor bangers, "Sensi dub", "I don’t give a dub" & "the legacy", which had gone on worldwide to sell thousands of units in 2007 alone. Cotti also has a track featuring on the massive "Box of dub 2" album (dubstep & future dub) released on Souljazz records track entitled "let go mi shirt" plus another track featured on the "fabriclive 37" compilation by Caspa & Rusko also released in 2007.

Cotti has been playing his sound/dubstep in clubs not only in and around London but in many other countries as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Holland, France, Poland, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Finland, Belgium, hungry, Scotland and Ireland where he has had a rapid response about his productions and his individual sound.

Cotti has played at the massive dmz @ the Brixton mass, fabric nightclub (London), dubloaded in Bristol, exodus vs dmz in Leeds & for channel 4 slash music just to name a few, not to mention the many festivals around the world Cotti has showcased his production and DJ skills making his sets second to none.
