Wellington dance scene

i'm thinking of moving to wtgn (from auck) to transfer to vic uni in the second semester or nxt year. i love wtgn, but kno nothing about the dance scene down there. ne one care to share some insight??

What are you into in terms of genres (gotta hate genre definitions, but useful here) .... ? We don't have nearly as many of the huge parties as Auckland does of course, but there's plenty on offer eh.

Believe it or not, but having partied in both AKL
and WGTN, Wgtn has a lot more to offer in
terms of range of genres and quality on any
given night.....one diff, AKL gets heaps more
internationals in.....thats one good thing.....

Yeah, and if you're into huge parties - gatecrasher, godskitchen, two tribes style - then Wgtn pales in comparison. Me, I'm ambivalent towards them, sometimes I prefer to be kicking it up in Studio9 with ten other people left on the dancefloor at 6am.

lemon, this place rocks, alot less bad attitudes down here, and the parties go off, vic's cool too, but the students a little bit loopy(if any one find this offencive, stand back look at yourself, your a vic uni student, you are strange)hehe

welly rocks lemon, i started going down there for partying almost a year ago, ended up going most weekends, now i'm moving there!

usually a pretty good selection, tho i haven't lived in Ak to know how it is up there...

well, having partied in both, its a hard one. ive definatley had the best and worst times in my life in wellys, but id have to say that the prize goes to wellington. the people are nicer in our dear capital, allthough the yellow pages is small, just like the airport.! :-p~
