So I've got an idea for a website, but haven't made a one since mucking around in Frontpage like 10 years ago Razz

I'd like to do my own site outright eventually, but for the sake of ease I've started it in blog format at the moment. I'm playing with Blogspot, which seems pretty robust, but looking for any general advice on what web design software is best/easiest, which blog hosting sites are best etc..

For DIY, WordPress. Run it on their platform now, if you ever want to heavily customise you can move it easily to your own real hosting.

You're not going to use any web design software these days.

you can get a program for that PD

Welcome to my blog

on topic, I use both blogger and wordpress - blogger is awesome for quick setup no frills action... wordpress vastly superior if you want more features and to think more than you may need to - in short both good, myspace bad
