The rugby world cup is WAR.War upon the field.

Why then are we hosting foreign teams and supporting them? Why are we adopting them?
Does doing that make it more or less likely NZ will win? Less, because the opposing teams will be happy.

In war it is called giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I will never understand NZers. They are not our friends, they are not our comrades, they are people who have come here to win the world cup. It is war and we are feeding the partisans.

Whats this got to do with NZ'ers? The Aussies did this at the WC we lost the hosting rights too , and Im would think its a standard ploy adopted by most of not all countries holding major events like this.?

The idea is more to get the community involved than make the opposition feel welcome
