NICK SENTIENCE
Q1. If you had to describe your sound to someone who had never heard of you before, what would you say?
A1. A Driving, high energy, euphoric rollercoaster of magical sounds.
Q2. You made it big at 17 years old. Do you think you missed out on any of your
youth?
A2. I sometimes think I should have taken my parents offer of paying for University so I could have spent 3 years at the student bar, but I think being paid to travel the world playing my music to thousands of people would win the day to be honest!
Q3. Describe your dream gig?
A3. Playing the same event as Prodigy or Chemical Bros.
Q4. You've been labelled as the 'King Of Hard Dance'- how does such a label make you feel?
A4. Its a compliment for sure, although I know a few DJ's who like to call themselves that too! In music things change all the time, so I try to keep my feet on the ground and get on with making good tracks and rocking the floor.
Q5. Finally, you were over here a year ago for Crossroad and played lots of older tunes- what should we expect from your set at Warriors - Godfatherz?
A6. I think I may have played a few new remixes of classic tracks, but not many older tracks. I do try and play a few classics in my sets as it brings a smile to the dance floor. I could easily play sets of all new stuff, but I think only the anoraks would get it. I like to keep everyone having a good night, while pushing things forward as well. My set at Warriors will have some classics mixed with new tracks, and if all goes well, the place will be hot, sweaty and full of rocking clubbers. Cant wait!
