Wanna put on a party in ak

Since I have absolutely nothing to do at work I might as well use the time constructively. I wanna etc. Firstly where, any suggestions, preferably a bar with style and set up with no-one in it on a sat night. How much is a bar to hire for a night?

try Kermadec's in downtown(the Trench bar) its a cool lil bar thats not usually too packed, its sout of above Loaded Hog... not too sure on the price thou, they usually have private parties there for TV personalities

Dont know about Kermadec, its a bit small, not much room to dance. If I was you I would be looking at a function centre. Kinda like the ones that hold 21st's and stuff.

Try the k'rd ball room. Also Komodo in Parnell is available on a Saturday night and they have a booth with tables and mixer etc. They also have a big light rig now as well and pool tables for a chillout room. Try the angle bar. Thety are pretty sweet about it. I have a $100 bar tab there for a party so you can have half of that with me if you organise a party there. free invites and DJ's and stuff.

However, the Krd ballroom is an option. I think its only $100 to hire for the night.. with a bar and staff.

The angle bar tabs are a bit of a rip. Get 20 people in the bar, we will give you a drink each. Hmmmm. Oh and free entry.

Yeah i know-but they keep ringing so i just wanna get rid of uit. The ballroom is good cos if all turns to slush then u can just walk down up or across the rd. Seriously investigat Komodo tho.

Thank you fellas, I will give some of these places a ring to see what's up price wise. It's just gonna be a smallish type-o-ting, and the djs I'll worry about later,prolly just me and some other geezer. I'm trying to tie it in with my girlfriends xmas do to guarantee punters but they are fartarsing around with dates. The ballroom is a bit big, angle isn't my scene, I might try that new one up from elbow room just for a price.
