Not particularly, but I also believe that people have a right to chose what they do and not be criticised for it unless they ram it in your face. I don't buy into all the anti-religion stuff at all.

religion: general definition: organised group of people beliving in a set sort of spirituality.

spiritulity: the idea behind the said group of organised nutters...

i believe in spirituality... but organised religion is one of the biggest threats to peace on earth.

a man with one watch always knows the time, a man with two is never sure.

organised religion: where a group of people get together who potentially have the same spiritual beliefs.

firstly, ive got to ask why everyone is so against this. I know there are a lot of religions that 'steal' money.. what else is wrong here?

Also, some religions/ or churchs support their people and what they believe, which can be anything. people with all kinds of beliefs can turn up and feel welcome...

No but when it's done right it can be an uplifting ting, phillie gospel choirs. the idea of faith and belief is a good un, Its a brilliant motivator. If youi really believe that god is looking down on ya then taking risks in life is tht much easier

Um, I like watching gospel singers on telly, but don't have a religious bone in my body.

Having said that, I do think there is something out there watching over my Christian friend, who should have been killed in a car accident that saw her roll down a bank at 70kph, flip about 6 times and slam into a tree 50m down - and come out of it with a cut on her hand and a bruised chest.

I think Spirituality is individual, a set of beliefs / thoughts unique to one person...and therefore flexible, constantly evolving and about "learning". Religion is quite the opposite. I am very spiritual. I don't practise a particular religion - though study different ones. I believe in bits and pieces of quite a few religions though not 100% of any. Confused? hee hee

Although this is pretty harsh...I do sometimes wonder if those so dedicated to a structured religion are actually scared / incomplete and looking for safety. With some higher being (or representative) telling them how it is...they don't need to worry about finding the answers out for themselves.

Getting bored with the topic

Spirituality, Religion, God, mystical powers, positive energies... - very uninterested, dont care. At least not enough to rant on about it. I've had it fed to me in various forms through out my life, and from a very early age I wasnt interested... so yeah, burnt out from it.

But,
grouping people who wish to be part of organised religion as sheep, pppfft. Organised religions have a structure and a history and great deals of theology by many people to back them up. Going out on your own means your dismissing all that in favour of path with no information.

However, having said that, to me it doesnt really matter, because while say, the Catholic church (easy example for me, being stuck in their school system etc) may have vast librarys of theological discussion and debate, its all based on the premise that God actually exists, and all the has been written is not just a load of bollocks. All that intellectual writing, whoof, gone like that if the premise is untrue.
While lots of philosophy is good n all, I personally prefer to have a vast library about something tangable and tested, not just thought about, no matter how many people did that thinking.

In a word, no, don't really care too much about it. Each to their own I say tho, and if someone wants to believe in God, and the whole religious thing, then they can. Doesn't worry me in the slightest.

I dont have a problem with religion but I have a big problem with people who try to force their beliefs and ideals on others.

I am scared now, my mum went all weird on me and told me she was "re-born".

I try and stay away from church but i have nothing against religion- same as Kyla as long as they don't try and enforce it on me.
