You give me the reason, you give me control, you gave me your purity and your purity I stole....

Hey dude, I'm sitting around the office waiting for diags on a file server to finish, so I thoght I'd post you a note saying two things:

1) Send me an email @ paradise bro, cause I don't have your email address

2) I was shopping yesterday and fuck! there's a new Nine Inch Nails live album out (not bootlegged, relased by interscope) and fuck! it's good. Goes all the way from Pretty Hate Machine to The Fragile everything in between. Execlent recording quality - and some of the songs sound so much better live Razz If you wanna copy I'll pick one up for you - USD$13 nice and cheap!

Nice one brutha, keep it real and all that shit Razz

Woah, missed this when I jsut e-mailed ya!

Yeah man, I know!

"And All That Could Have Been" - it's live shit from the Fragility tour. Please tell me you got the "Deluxe Edition"? The Deluxe Edition has got a second CD "Still" with a few unreleased tracks as well. It's a bit more pricey but well worth it I reckon. There's also a DVD release - you must have seen that?

(details on http://www.andallthatcouldhavebeen.com/)

They're both being released in NZ, but at horrendous prices perhaps, so I was gonna cdnow.com it. However, I would probably fucking love for you to pick me up a copy of both the DVD and the deluxe CD version. It'll be pricey overall. Hmm, I'll check the prices out in NZ first (it's being released today I think) and get back to ya with confirmation okay?

CDnow.com have the Deluxe Edition of the CD for US$23 and the DVD edition for US$30, incidentally.

Oh yeah, and if you have a look around, see if you can see both a Dolby 5.1 and DTS version of the DVD. Apparently they are releasing two separate versions. I'd need the 5.1 version as my poor Creative SB Live! 5.1 doesn't do DTS decoding, unfortunately. Region issues won't be a problem for me either (region-free hacked DVD-ROM drive firmware, software and all). Very Happy

Anyway, I'll let you know/confirm by e-mail once I've run down to CD Store to check prices/availability here.

Sooo, are there any other closet Nine Inch Nails fanatics in the Flipside residency?

I take it that's a 'no'.

Hmm, jsut flipped past the CD Store to be informed that bloody Universal Music have fucked it up again. The CD release (regular version) in NZ is 7th February, the deluxe release is 21st February, and the DVD is coming out about then as well.

No confirmed retail prices. Grrr.

Anyway, I'll take this back to e-mail now, since no industrial fans have surfaced to contribute. Very Happy

Yeah. I've got Metallica CDs too.

NiN is much more cultured than bogans can generally handle, I'll have you know. I'm sure there are plenty of industrial style samples in DnB anyway, ya bastard. Razz

Yeah I think we're the only two here hard enough to be called NiN fanatics bro! and so I shall return to email also. Will probably get in touch tomorrow now as the 'puta's I'm working on here have finished with the automatic parts and now need my loving care and attention Smile
