I did a 35km mountainbike on Sunday, after having very little sleep in the weekend. Over in the Akatarawas, actually - in the rain. It was bloody good. Might have to do another big one this weekend.

Yeah, I know you did that. You put my rides to shame! Yeah, the Akatarawas are my favourite area for biking. I've done about every combination of the tracks up there that is possible! I just love the adrenalin rush with biking, always got so bored with running - and get bored with swimming if I do more than about 1500m.

I guess I've never really been that competitive. But would dearly love to be out on my bike today, ripping down the Rimu Road downhill at 45km/h on loose gravel. Soooo gooood!
