untinting my tail lights?

My taillights are tinted with spray tint paint. I need to untint them to pass a warrant and turps hasnt worked what can I use to get rid of spary tint? Thanks.

new lights ... or you may be able to buff it out with a bench grinder with a buff attachment .... risk of burning the plastic tho ...

Use a light abrasive cut'n'polish.
It works wonders on plastic lenses and brightens up dull faded headlamp lenses too

gp to marua road gas in ellerslie and they will pass without having to un tint them lol
i guarantee it, I just took in my flat mates libero with tinted front and back tail lights and cut back springs for an easy pass lol
