Unlocking iphone in NZ

What's the best way to do this?

Have seen various software options to download, any suggestions?

2G or 3G?

3g, have done latest software upgrade too

Have you tried to pop the new sim in and see if it works?

Sweet man, took a while but got there in the end. Mostly working fine now except for the data.

How do I get this up and running?

Do I need the APN, username and password? I can see the place for this info on the iphone (and for MMS), but it's empty at the moment.

When you hookup to iTunes it should ask you to update your global settings.

Anyway glad it works.

All going well, am on prepay at the mo, just waiting til I get a job and see what happens with phones. Doesn't seem to be an issue though, apart from a few apps being set to UK but I guess a little investigating can change that I just haven't been bothered.

Can't recall it asking to update global settings.
