any of you lot checked the albums recently dropped by rodney p and skinnyman?

they are both such damn solid albums!

Loved the skinnyman album, haven't checked rodney p's album but I've always enjoyed his style so meaning to pick that up soon..

The U.S. scene is suffering from the 'bling bling' bullshit. You can blame P Diddy or Puff Daddy Warbucks for that. Real emcees will have their time again soon enough.....I hope.

Skinnyman's album was one of the best this year i reckon

the rodney p album 'the future' is full of super wicked grimey as dancehall/hip hop crossover bizness, some of it quiet heavy and dark, recuts of classic JA riddims messed with nicely, check 'temper temper' sounds like the 'sleng teng' riddm if it was produced by king jammy and kid 606 together...

It's great eh, Listened to it about 20 times in a row to try and catch all the goodness. Definately go the UK sounds - loving the diversity
