Hans Raaijmakers delivers two sterling originals on Upbeat under his Kyota alias in the shape of 'For The Fallen' backed with 'Killing Time'. With his debut release on Bonzai in 2008 and his latest track 'Senegal' championed by Ferry Corsten just last month, Hans' productions are most certainly making their mark.

’For The Fallen’ (Original Mix)

First up is the Original Mix of 'For The Fallen'. Sharp plucked sub-melodies with rising intonation give way to a main melody to die for which we have been aching to let loose on the world. The moody sweeps and pads underneath rolling basslines lead into a breakdown and build which shine with light and energy, followed by a return to the main section underpinned by beautiful key changes which show off Hans' vision for the track to perfection.

’For The Fallen’ (Cloudriver Remix)

Viktor Szabó returns from Hungary as Cloudriver for the first remix which is nothing short of trance perfection. A pounding kick and searing lead synth lines glow along with soft moody chords followed by an eruption into a mighty rendition of the original melodies.

’For The Fallen’ (Oen Bearen Remix)

New to the label and hailing from Poland, the mighty Oen Bearen brings the second remix in a stomping nu-trance style with a sprinkling of tech elements. His rough growling bassline arrangements and crisp percussion result in a build up with real attitude. The breakbeat embraces the original melody perfectly and the rolling main section is decorated with a selection of pounding melodies.

’Killing Time’ (Original Mix)

Finishing the package is 'Killing Time' which is a fast paced driving trancer. Delicate percussion sits atop pulsing harmonies and chopped vocal snippets. The shimmering pads and euphoric lead notes serve as yet another reminder of Hans's skill in crafting artistic melodies and structures designed for the dance floor.
