Beginning a powerful wave of top notch releases on Upbeat towards the end of the year, Shaun Ansari wades in with this, his superb new twin track EP proving just why his work continues to be a key feature on Upbeat.

With a list of achievements that reads like most producers wish lists, Shaun can count Above & Beyond, M.I.K.E, Pedro del Mar, Manuel le Saux, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Jon O'Bir, Kuffdam and Mark Pledger among his regular supporters, as well as legions of fans who are just aching to hear his latest works.

Support includes:
M.I.K.E, Mark Eteson, Manuel le Saux, Thomas Datt, ATB, Ashley Wallbridge, Haris C, Robert Gitelman, Sean Truby, Ex-Driver, Simon Bostock, ReOrder, Michael Angelo, Andre Visior, Sasha da Link, Angel Ace, Dimitri Kechagias, Suzy Solar & more.

The first of the two entitled 'Lahore' kicks off with a deep thumping rhythmic bassline leading into sparkling light melodies and pumping key changes, filling every inch of the available space to perfection. The clean break builds back into a rising filtered crescendo for the main melodies to continue, characterised by dreamy basslines and polished lead notes. The smooth tones of ‘Lahore’ will also feature on ATB’s new mix compilation, out at the end of the year on Kontor.

The second track of the EP named 'Crack The Sky' is a quick paced, pulsing trancer with clipped percussion and keen lead harmonies. A subtle echoed voice gives way to a deep break with a rising piano lead melody.

Proof indeed, as if any were needed, that Shaun's reputation as a creative and in demand producer with an ear for the melodic is rightly deserved.
