since trading in my super taper black jeans years ago, I have suddenly realised I dont know as many people in the automotive trade anymore.....and I need new tyres.

Does anynoe have any recommendations on where I could get a super duper deal?

I need 4x 205/65/15 pref dunlop monza 200 or anything similar with quiet road noise.

Am in wgtn too

Cheers Smile

hey guys, cheers for the reply.

the best quote so far is 4 dunlop A54??? I think at $110 each fitted or 4 nankang(not sure of model) but heaps of taxis are using them as they are quiet and get great mileage and a wheel alignment for $440.

Cheers heaps Very Happy

Yes, quotes as above.

What would you recommend I get and how much will they be?

Im quite keen on the nankangs due to good mileage and free wheel alignment.

Would be keen to hear of anymore though.

maybe try for simex 205/65 R15 sm6000 they are a good tyre with a soft compound rubber so will give you low road noise and probably a lot cheaper than dunlop even though they are manufactured by the same company that make dunlop .... or even the sime 205/65 R15 astar prima once again they will prolly be cheaper and are again made by the same company that make dunlop

i've got simex 205/55 R15 on my celica and they're running pretty awesome done about 35/40 k on them and will prolly do another 10 at best

Unfortunately I don't deal with Bridgestone or Michelin, Bridgestone I think do these really cheap but as I don't have an account with them you will probably be able to get them cheaper elsewhere.
Sorry mate

its not a major bro, they aint for my car. What tyres do you deal with? not keen on any shitty hankooks or anything, but toyo, falken, dunlop, yokohama, any recognised brand would do.....

yo christopher, I have two options for you.
a) brandnew 225 40 wanli tyres for $695
b) brandnew top of the line 225 40 goodyear eagles for $895
The wanli's are perfect if you want a tyre that will last a long time, they are quite grippy in the wet also, the only problem with wanli's is they tend to have a bit more road noise than the likes of a goodyear.
The goodyear eagle is a fantastic top range tyre, won't last as long as they are a softer and more of a performance tyre.
Both are directionals and come with a 1 year warranty.
Also this price doesn't include fitting but I can arrange for you to drive into a shop and have them fitted for an extra $70
Hopefully that might be of some help Cool
