Travel Insurance

I'm undecided as to weather I should take out 1 years travel insurance or just for my journey from NZ to London.

For the guys that have done the journey, what did you do? & would you have done it differently?

Take out travel insurance for the trip over...and an extra couple of weeks.

Insurance is heaps cheaper to get here...so just take it out as you need it.

I would just do the insurance from NZ to your end destination of London, you will find that basically medical insurance you wont need as you are in the UK and they have the NHS...

I just paid my insurance yesterday for 21 days I think it was $200?

I've never had travel insurance. Travelled to a few dodgy countries and have been in Japan over a year now ....... guess its better to be safe than sorry though huh

Im in korea and was here for 6 months then my apartment got ripped off. Lost my laptop, xbox and some cash.

Luckily I had insurance, and although it didnt cover the entire amount I lost, it paid itself over several fold.
