fk, cant find the thread that talked about Digweed's Transitions Vol2...

anyhow, been meaning to post this for a few weeks (or did i when drunk?!, fk nose)...

finally got round to buying Transitions Vol 2, got home, put it into the stereo, got halfway through the CD and had to double check i wasnt listening to an updated version of GU019...

the CD is definately all class, but i found it interesting to notice the flow (intro up upper down left up right down up up etc) felt almost identical to GU-LA... and the tracks he selected, whilst "minimal", were delivered in the manor as the said GU CD... not that i'm complaining, that cd was/is my all time fave GU cd.

And I thought you were going to be talking about techniques and styles of transitions between tunes...

Been thrashing this for a while now. Especially love the first half of the CD. Tracks 2 - 4 are beautiful....Track 2 Dana defines 'organic' in my opinion.

Have 3 on order from Amazon at the moment.

will hunt this down for sure, on another note in teh same vein (renaissance)... just picked up this years Hernan Cattaneo Sequential CD... havent listened to disk 2 yet, but disk 1 is sounding pretty solid.

hernan for me is a 2nd coming of diggers but encapsulated in a bundle of energy. both of them from thier cd's and live performances seem to truly be very very intelligent dj's.... full respect.

had that sequential for ages, awesome cd. disc 1 is def as. Bought it as i had most of the tracks and wanted to see how he mixed them, needless to say, very envious!
